Spring Break Update
Well we saw Horton Hears a Who and it was super de duper! And we also went to the Houston Zoo today. Terrific! We became members of the zoo so now we can go for a whole year for free! Yipee!!!! Umm can I also say that I love Orangutans. Like Sawyer from LOST they make my heart melt. I secretly love any animal with red hair (my husband included). Today there was a baby a momma and a daddy out eating “popsicles” which were actually frozen juice inside a paper cup. They would peel away the cup with their fingers. The baby kept putting a piece of cardboard over his head to make a little house. Too fun!! I could have literally sat there for hours but I didn’t cause my friend who is really pregnant had to stand there and watch me like I was a dumb dumb. Good thing I’m a member now I’m going to force Marcus to go back with me!! Hehe! Oh yeah Munchkin had fun too.
Season Two done. Marcus home.
I’m a happy girl. Marcus is home and I finished Season Two of LOST. Claire loves Charlie again so my life is complete (my LOST life anyway). Gotta love love. Kinda pissed that Sawyer shagged that chic (Anna) though. Well now she’s dead so it doesn’t really matter. I didn’t like her anyway. And why do I like Sawyer? He’s mean but a favorite of mine. When he is actually nice to someone my heart melts. Oh what joy I have found!! Season Three here I come. Can’t wait! Oh….Munchkin went to a Girl Scout camp this weekend and she had loads of fun. The leader said she only had to have one talk with her (that’s a miracle). This week she is on spring break so I will try to keep yall posted on all the fun. I know we will see Horton Hears A Who. I have been waiting to see this. Yipee! (That is not a joke. I can’t wait to see it.) Loving life right now.
This is getting old.
My husband is still gone and this is starting to suck. He will be gone for a whole week before I see him again and that is the longest we have been apart since he moved home from college/Chicago. Chicago always made me mad cause it was so far away. Now I am mad at Austin. Both awesome places but they piss me off. I have been sleeping in way too late and staying up way too late (watching LOST of course). My schedule is getting all out of whack and I have so much to do and I don’t want to do any of it. I may give in and get on a Greyhound Bus and make my way to Austin. Or I may just stay here and sulk and catch up on some stuff. Stuck in the middle. Shouldn’t live in the middle. Just passing thru.Goodnight.
Spring, Sprang, Sprung
Well not only did I lose an hour if sleep last night but I also had to endure a Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert as well. My Munchkin had the time of her life and I feel like I’ve been beaten within an inch of mine. Good times! I am glad she had fun. My husband the photographer is out of town right now so I realized about halfway there I had forgotten my camera. Sorry for the less than perfect pics. They are from my cell phone. In the pic with the goat she is actually braiding his beard. He seemed to enjoy it cause he sat there forever and let her do it. Too funny! Oh and for those of you who are not jealous you might be when I tell you there was a special appearance by Billy Ray Cyrus himself and we got some Achy Breaky Heart action. On the way to the petting zoo Munchkin was singing her achy breaky heart out. Crack me up!!!
Haiti
Haiti in May of this year. We are selling shirts to help raise money
for our trip. The cost for the mission is only $300 each but we also
have to pay for our airfare, vaccines and medications, and several other
types of supplies (like bug-spray w/DEET so we don’t end up like Oastie
aka Dennis). We will probably spend somewhere around $2000 and we are
paying for everything ourselves. So if you are interested in a shirt
please let us know. The shirts are $20 each and range in size from
youth medium to XXXL. Sizes XXL & XXXL are an additional $2. I have
attached a photo so you can see what it looks like. They only come in
navy. I will collect the money when I take your order and I will
deliver your shirts when they come in. If you know of anyone else that
may be interested please let me know. Any extra money that we receive
over the amount we need I will be using to purchase supplies for a
clinic in Haiti where we will be spending some of our time. I would
also like to ask each of you to pray for us. I know that this trip is
going to be a life changing experience for us and I want to be sure that
we are prepared. I will speak for myself when I say that my heart is
already beginning to soften to this country and I think I may leave part
of it there when I come home. I think I will return home with an ache I
may never be able to remedy. Ok now that I sound like a crazy woman I
will let you go.

LOST
Ok so I recently started watching LOST again from Season One. Love Love Love. I am now about to start Season Two. Excited Excited Excited. I am still watching the new ones each week. Fun Fun Fun. Anyway you get my point. Marcus is going to be out of town for a whole week and so I guess I will be needing the next season soon. If you need me I will be in my lounge chair with a blanket drinking coffee and watching LOST. I miss Charlie.
